Ranking Mobile SDKs

SourceDNA analyzes thousands of iOS and Android apps from the appstores and identifies their code. This report shows recent marketshare for some common mobile SDKs and tool vendors.

The report is divided into two sections: vendor marketshare and a list of apps. The marketshare is displayed as a donut chart, showing each vendor's share of a given SDK category compared to their competitors. The list of vendors gives the total number of apps using their SDK(s). Since apps can contain more than one SDK (e.g., ads), we don't show this as a percentage.

The active app store and SDK category can be chosen via the two selectors at the top. This allows you to compare relative marketshare in appstores or find which apps are using particular SDKs. These choices also determine which apps are displayed in the bottom section.

You can click on an individual app to see all the SDKs it contains. The rank is the app's relative popularity, based on number of downloads. You can click the appstore link on the right to see its description and other details.

If you click on a vendor name in the list, only apps that contain an SDK from that vendor will be shown. Clicking on the same name or selecting a different vendor will clear this filter.
